Sleepover on steroids

Our Rotorua experience was definitely a "sleepover on steroids" as Brittany would say. It was just one big sleepover party everyday. haha.

After Zorbing we went back home to warm ourselves up in the natural hot springs hot tub (in the Brons's backyard). The water smelled, and turned our silver rings brown, but boy did it warm us up! It was so hot that there was a cold stream of water that had to be pumped into it at the same time just to cool it down. It was fun to sit in the hot water, watch a show on TV, and talk with the girls :).

We went to a random ward on Sunday again and realized that we only have ONE Sunday left here in NZ. That was a sad thought. I honestly can't believe it is ending so soon. Where has the time gone? After church we went and made Navajo tacos on yummy scones and then went for a drive. We were able to see a couple of lakes, one of them being the sacred lake. No one is allowed in the sacred lake and it is all covered with trees to surround it from anyone going in. We also saw a mountain that was missing its top because of a volcano and earthquake eruption years before. I liked driving in Ramona's car and listening to church music as we went.

Monday night was FHE, so naturally it was time for some KARAOKE. Our songs included:
  • Party in the USA --Miley Cyrus (we are a little home sick because we always sing that song for karaoke)
  • YMCA
  • anything Beach boys because James loves them
  • Love Story --Taylor Swift
  • Earl had to Die --Dixie Chicks (sung by me, Brittany and Kirsten in our best, nasally, twainy, cowgirl voice)
  • ADELE songs (sung at the top of our lungs)
  • and of course. . . Justin Bieber, "One Time"
  • (and more)

We all busted out our moves, sang at the top of our lungs, and had a blast. We even got James to sing, Chris to sing, and Ramona to sing and dance.

It was one big sleepover on steroids.

Natural hot water hot tub....boy was it warm :)

It felt really good after being cold and wet on the drive home from
Zorbing.

We watched Tangled one night and Megamind another night.

Our group of 20 after church!

Sunday drive

The sacred lake. It was beautiful.

It's starting to get pretty cold here in NZ now...summer is leaving!

The mountain that lost its top from the volcano eruption and earthquake.

KARAOKE for FHE

Chris and Ramona singing away. You'll notice that we are in the same
building as the one for our dinner and a show night. It's because the Brons's
own and run the dinner and a show place! :)

YMCA! I love Brittany's socks and shoes.

So much fun

Go Ramona!
